Amazon FBA holiday peak fulfillment fees begin October 15
Verified: October 13, 2026 ·
Effective: October 15, 2026–January 14, 2027
Amazon will apply holiday peak fulfillment fees to U.S. FBA orders from
October 15, 2026 through January 14, 2027. The peak rates
also apply to eligible Remote Fulfillment, Multi-Channel Fulfillment, and
Buy with Prime orders.
Amazon says the holiday rate cards have, on average, the same per-unit
increase over non-peak rates as last year. Its existing
3.5% fuel and logistics-related surcharge also applies to
these fulfillment fees.
Who should check: FBA sellers with inventory expected to
sell during the holiday period, especially sellers with lower-margin,
heavier, or bulky products.
What to check: your expected FBA fulfillment fee under the
peak rate card, then whether your Q4 price, advertising spend, discount,
and product cost still leave enough profit.
Calculator note: This is not a new referral fee and does
not automatically change merchant-fulfilled shipping costs. If you use the
Amazon Profit Calculator, enter the expected holiday FBA fulfillment fee
for the product you are testing.
Printful & Printify
Holiday shipping surcharge: $0.40 per US order
Effective: October 15, 2026–January 17, 2027
Printful and Printify will each add $0.40 to orders shipped to US addresses. It is charged once per order, even when an order has multiple items or shipments.
What to check: Your profit on holiday sales, especially when you offer free shipping or a discount. Printify does not automatically add the surcharge to your store prices; orders using TikTok Shipping are exempt.
eBay currency-conversion charge rises to 3.25%
Verified: October 5, 2026 ·
Effective: October 14, 2026
eBay’s seller currency-conversion charge for U.S.-registered sellers will
increase from 3% to 3.25% when eBay
converts funds connected to an item listed or sold on another eBay
marketplace.
The increase is 0.25 percentage points, or about $2.50 more per
$1,000 converted. It is not a new fee on ordinary domestic
eBay.com transactions where no currency conversion occurs.
Who should check: U.S.-registered sellers who list or
sell on another eBay marketplace, such as eBay UK or eBay Germany, and
receive payouts or pay listing-related charges that eBay converts between
currencies.
What to check: the amount eBay converts on international
sales, expected payout amounts, and whether your international pricing
still leaves enough room after conversion costs.
Calculator note: This is separate from eBay’s standard
final value fee. When testing an international-marketplace scenario after
October 14, include the 3.25% currency-conversion charge in your profit
check when eBay will convert the funds.

USPS holiday prices begin October 4
Verified: September 26, 2026 · Effective: October 4, 2026 through January 17, 2027
USPS has published temporary holiday prices for specified domestic Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage, and Parcel Select shipments. In its commercial-rate examples, the increase for 0–3 lb Priority Mail and Ground Advantage packages in Zones 1–4 is 40 cents. Other services, zones, weights, and rate categories have different increases.
Who should check: sellers shipping physical items with affected USPS services, including Etsy sellers who buy USPS labels. Etsy label costs may reflect discounts, so check your actual label quote before changing a listing.
What to check: actual postage cost, shipping charged to the buyer, profit per order, and the effect of a price change on multiple-item orders.
Date clarification: Etsy’s eligible-listing search guidance for buyer-visible shipping below $6 began in October 2024. It is relevant context for repricing, not a new October 2026 Etsy rule.

How this watch works
We track material changes to seller fees, payment processing, shipping prices, and plan costs across Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Stripe, and PayPal. An entry gets added when a confirmed change could alter a calculator result or a seller’s pricing decision.
- What changed: the old and new rule or price, where confirmed.
- When it applies: the effective date, location, service, or seller group.
- What to check: the calculator or decision that may need fresh numbers.
Entries stay short. When a change needs a fuller explanation, we link to a Seller Deep-Dive. Older entries can be archived after they stop affecting current decisions.
